Local means the drive is short and the answer is specific
Every plumbing company within fifty miles calls itself local. What that should actually mean is two things: the drive to your house is short, and the person on the phone knows what is likely to be wrong before they arrive because they work on your kind of house constantly.
We are based at 5760 Marshall St in Arvada, a few minutes off Ralston Road. When you call, the phone is answered by someone who can tell you whether your problem needs a truck tonight or can comfortably wait until morning — and who will say the second one when it is true, even though the first one pays better.
How we price
Flat rate, quoted in writing, agreed before anything is opened, cut or drained. It does not move because the job took longer than we expected. That risk is ours to carry, which is also why we will not give a firm price over the phone for work we have not seen — quoting flat honestly means looking first.
There is a diagnostic fee for coming out and identifying the problem. If you go ahead with the repair that day, it comes off the price of the job. After-hours and weekend work costs more, and we tell you the number on the phone before dispatching rather than putting it on the invoice as a surprise.
What we will not do
We will not replace a water heater that needs a thermocouple. We will not recommend a sewer replacement without showing you the camera footage that justifies it. We will not send somebody to walk your house looking for things to sell you. And when the honest answer is “that will hold for another couple of years, call us when it stops,” that is what you will hear.
None of that is charity. A plumber who oversells gets one job from a house. We would rather have the next twenty years of calls from the same address, and the neighbors it brings.

About us — common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed in Colorado, carrying liability insurance and workers' compensation. Ask to see both at the door. Any plumber worth hiring hands them over without hesitating, and one who will not has told you something useful.
Do you use subcontractors?
The plumbing work is ours. On larger jobs that involve excavation or drywall finishing we may bring in specialists, and we will tell you who is coming and what they are doing before they arrive rather than surprising you with a van you do not recognise.
What areas do you cover?
All of Arvada, plus Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Broomfield and the northwest edge of Denver. We are on Marshall Street, so most of that is inside a twenty-minute drive. If you are further out we will say so honestly rather than quote an arrival time we cannot hit.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, in writing, on the invoice — both on our labour and on the parts we supply. If we install a part you bought yourself we will still warrant our labour, but the part itself is between you and wherever you got it.
Water where it should not be?
Call and talk to a plumber, not a script. If it can wait until morning we will tell you that too.
